Celebrating Green Days at Business Factory Frederick

The Business Factory of Frederick will be holding a unique event during the last weekend of the month, Celebrating Green Days. The “green” theme event, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 26, 27th and 28th will showcase area small businesses dedicated to making a better environmental footprint.

All proceeds from the event will go to Seed of Life Nurseries, Inc. Seed of Life Nurseries is a local non-profit that is committed to helping the Frederick Community by providing farm fresh produce to families in need.

Art & Music

The featured Artist will be Clifton W. Carter, Jr., a graduate of Governor Thomas Johnson High School, now a premier artist in the San Francisco area. His work will be on display all 3 days, and he will be telling his story with interactive Q&A.

There will be live music throughout the weekend. Kim Perseghin, a Maryland based guitarist/pianist, singer/songwriter will perform Sunday.

Family DayCelebrating Green Days

Sunday is “Family Day” during Celebrating Green Days, highlighting Adventures with Raptors. AWR, by Deron Meador, will be exhibiting live birds of prey, rescued owls and hawks on Sunday.

The mission of Adventures with Raptors is to promote knowlege and education, and community awareness of the preservation, management, and conservation of birds of prey. Learn more at the Adventures with Raptors Website.

This promises to be a one-of-a-kind event, with something for everyone!
