I stumbled across a “secret garden” while riding my bike in downtown Frederick. Right in the middle of the Historic District there are a couple of gardens, that I’m sure many people don’t know about.
This is the Evangelical Lutheran Church, 35 E. Church Street, Frederick. Behind the gate on the east of the the church, there is a pretty meditation garden, with benches, statues, bird baths and flowers. At this time, there are beautiful tulips, but this summer there will be roses and more. Many days it is open to the public.
